From Freezing Inauguration Night to America 250: My Full Circle Moment

On January 20, 2025, I stood outside in brutal freezing cold for 13 hours to get inside Capital One Arena. When “Hail to the Chief” played and President Trump walked out, I stood up and shouted from the bottom of my heart: “We love you, Mr. President!”

President Trump turned, pointed directly at me with a big smile, and First Lady Melania Trump waved back. That moment was captured on live international television.

What happened next was extraordinary. Even though no media outlet, no podcast, and no one from the White House reached out while I was in Washington, I later sent multiple letters with a full account of what happened. The White House officially validated and recognized my story three separate times — including a hand-signed letter from the President himself. Those responses are now permanently preserved in the Presidential Records at the National Archives.

For a private citizen with no connections, getting your name into the Presidential Records under the Presidential Records Act is incredibly rare.

Returning for America 250

This past week, I returned to Washington, D.C. with my parents to celebrate America’s 250th birthday. The conditions were brutal. Temperatures soared over 100 degrees with extreme humidity. People were passing out left and right from the heat. Paramedics were constantly responding to heat-related emergencies.

Despite the punishing heat, the severe weather that forced an evacuation of the National Mall, and the chaos, I had the time of my life. We explored the Great American State Fair, watched the Thunderbirds and B-2 stealth bomber roar overhead, and witnessed the massive fireworks display.

But something interesting kept happening everywhere I went — when people learned about what I had done on Inauguration Day and how my name is now in the Presidential Records, their minds were blown. They couldn’t believe one regular guy from Minnesota had pulled it off.

Nobody Wanted to Tell This Story

Here’s what’s honestly a little sad: in today’s corporate media landscape, outlets are quick to push negative and divisive stories. But when an ordinary patriotic American follows his heart, shouts loud enough to be acknowledged by both the President and First Lady on live TV, and ends up with his name permanently preserved in the National Archives — nobody wants to tell it.

So I’m telling it myself.

This journey began with one shy kid from Minnesota following his heart. Now my name is part of America’s official presidential record.
