FAFO

Nicholas Petersen stands proud before a glowing FAFO sign wearing a red MAGA hat and glasses, holding an American flag. Fireworks and the Capitol behind him. His message: I don’t start wars, but I will finish them. I don’t back down.

I never wanted any of this.

All I did was send a warm, respectful message to a family member. I shared how proud I was to be taking my parents to Washington, D.C. for America’s 250th birthday. I opened up about sitting outside Capital One Arena for 13 hours in the freezing cold before Inauguration Day 2025 — the moment that changed my life forever. I even wished them a happy birthday.

Their response was cold, nasty, and deeply condescending.

Instead of fighting back, I sent the entire exchange to the one family member they could never manipulate.

That single decision brought years of hidden insecurity into the light.

The insecurity is coming out because I’ve been validated by the White House three times. I don’t have time to deal with people twice my age who can’t handle my rare validation. They can try to downplay it all they want, but the White House doesn’t do “cute.” They do history.

Thanks to the Presidential Records Act, my story is now permanently preserved in the National Archives. For a private civilian to achieve this is extremely rare.

My story has gone global, and that recognition has triggered deep insecurities in people who should be happy for me — family or not.

For years I was the quiet one. The pushover. The doormat.

Not anymore.

Blood does not give anyone the right to disrespect you. No matter how much older they are, or how long they’ve gotten away with it, I will no longer accept being treated this way.

I didn’t start this.

But when someone decides to fuck around… they will find out.

I now stand up for what I believe in — family or not.
