Back to America 250

Returning to Washington for America 250

I’m standing at the Minneapolis airport right now, boarding pass in hand, heart already full of emotion.

One year ago, on Inauguration Day 2025, I slept outside in a tent in 19-degree weather. After 13 freezing hours, as “Hail to the Chief” played, I shouted from the bottom of my heart: “We love you, Mr. President!”

President Trump and First Lady Melania Trump both turned and looked directly at me. That single moment changed my life forever.

The White House has now responded to me three separate times. Those personal responses are permanently preserved in the National Archives under the Presidential Records Act — something extremely rare for a private citizen.

Today, I’m heading back to the city that changed everything. For America 250, America’s 250th birthday, I’m making the full patriotic journey: Philadelphia, Boston, and Washington, D.C. with my parents by my side.

After years of people treating me like my voice didn’t matter, I finally followed my heart — and it led to something I never could have imagined.

I keep my heart wide open for what the future holds. If I could reach the White House in a way that had never been done before, then I trust the right things — and the right person — will come at the right time.

Until then, I’ll keep loving America out loud with my whole heart.

America 250, here we come.
